Good morning beautiful people. When I was younger I messed up a lot. There were plenty of times my mother told me to do something and I decided not to. Instead of my mother punishing me for being disobedient she would simply ask me again. She gave me a second chance to get it right. She didn’t have to extend mercy on me but she did. That’s just how God is towards us. Perhaps we are like Jonah. We hear the voice of The Lord clear as day but we take off running in the opposite direction. Just like God called out to Jonah a second time (And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, (Jonah 3:1 KJV))he will do the same for us. I don’t know about you but I’ve needed God to give me a second, third, and fiftieth chance! I mess up royally daily but I serve a God who has unlimited mercy. Instead of snuffing me out he gives me the chance to get my life together and do it right.

The next time someone wrongs you and needs a second chance remember what God has done for you…
